Fish Fry (HAMOUR FISH)
**Ingredients:**
**For the marinade:**
- Fish fillets – 500g
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp (adjust to taste)
- Turmeric powder (haldi) – 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- Fish masala – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
**For the coating:**
- Besan (gram flour) – 1/2 cup
- Corn flour – 1/4 cup
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder (haldi) – 1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
**Other:**
- Oil – for deep frying
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp (for finishing)

### Instructions:
1. **Marinate the Fish:**
- In a bowl, combine red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, fish masala, garam masala, cumin powder, and coriander powder.
- Rub this spice mixture evenly over the fish fillets.
- Let the fish marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb all the flavors.
2. **Prepare the Coating:**
- In another bowl, mix besan, corn flour, salt, turmeric powder, and red chili powder.
- Add a little water to make a thick batter or keep it dry for a crispy coating (your choice).
3. **Coat the Fish:**
- Dip each marinated fish piece into the besan-corn flour mixture. Make sure it is evenly coated.
4. **Fry the Fish:**
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Once hot, carefully slide the coated fish pieces into the oil.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- Remove and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
5. **Finish with Lemon:**
- Place the fried fish on a serving plate.
- Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the top for a tangy finish.
