RAGDA PATTICE

 For the Ragda: - 1 cup dried white peas (vatana), soaked overnight and pressure cook it next day - 2 medium onions, chopped - 2 cloves garlic, minced - 1 medium tomato, chopped - 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder ,turmeric powder,coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder - Salt, to taste - 2 tablespoons tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoons coriander chutney - Chopped cilantro, for garnish and some lemon juice Instructions For the Potato Patties: 1. Mix mashed potatoes, peas, onions, cilantro, green chilies, cumin powder, garam masala powder, and salt in a bowl. You can add more spices of Ur choice in the batter. 2. Shape into patties and coat with breadcrumbs or semolina. 3. Fry the patties until golden brown and crispy. For the Ragda: 1.   Garlic bread is a popular savory bread that combines the flavors of garlic and butter. Here's a simple recipe to make delicious garlic bread at home: Ingredients - 1 loaf of White Bread  - 3 cloves of garlic, minced - 1/2 cup butter, softened - 1 teaspoon dried oregano,chilli flakes - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese (optional) Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). 2. Slice the bread into 1-inch thick slices. 3. In a bowl, mix together minced garlic, softened butter, oregano, salt, and chilli flakes. 4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly onto each bread slice. 5. If using cheese, sprinkle it on top of the garlic butter. 6. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted. Ingredients - 4-6 bread slices - 1 cup gram flour (besan) - 1/2 cup water - 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder - Salt, to taste - Oil, for frying Instructions 1. In a bowl, mix together gram flour, water, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to make a smooth batter. 2. Cut the bread slices into halves or quarters, depending on the desired size. 3. Dip each bread slice into the batter, coating it evenly. 4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. 5. Fry the bread slices until golden brown and crispy. 6. Remove the pakoras from oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. 7. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce. Tips - Adjust the amount of chili powder according to your desired level of spiciness.
