RAGDA PATTICE
For the Ragda: - 1 cup dried white peas (vatana), soaked overnight and pressure cook it next day - 2 medium onions, chopped - 2 cloves garlic, minced - 1 medium tomato, chopped - 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder ,turmeric powder,coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder - Salt, to taste - 2 tablespoons tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoons coriander chutney - Chopped cilantro, for garnish and some lemon juice Instructions For the Potato Patties: 1. Mix mashed potatoes, peas, onions, cilantro, green chilies, cumin powder, garam masala powder, and salt in a bowl. You can add more spices of Ur choice in the batter. 2. Shape into patties and coat with breadcrumbs or semolina. 3. Fry the patties until golden brown and crispy. For the Ragda: 1.
