MASALA PRAWNS

 Masala prawns are a popular Indian dish known for their bold flavors and spices. Here's a simple recipe:


*Ingredients:*

- 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving

*Instructions:*

1. *Marinate Prawns:* Marinate prawns with turmeric, salt, and a pinch of red chili powder for 15-20 minutes.

2. *Sauté Onions:* Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions, and sauté until golden brown.

3. *Add Masalas:* Add ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Cook until the oil separates.

4. *Add Tomato:* Add chopped tomato (optional)and cook until soft.

5. *Cook Prawns:* Add marinated prawns and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through.

6. *Finish:* Add garam masala, adjust salt, and garnish with cilantro.

7. *Serve:* Serve hot with rice, naan, or roti, and lemon wedges on the side.

- Adjust spice levels according to your preference.
- You can add other spices or herbs like curry leaves or kasuri methi for extra flavor.
