JEERA CHAAS
Jeera chaas, or cumin-flavored buttermilk, is a popular Indian drink! Here's a simple recipe to make it at home using curd:
*Ingredients:*
- 1 cup plain yogurt (curd)
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder (jeera powder)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black salt (optional, for a tangy flavor)
- Fresh cilantro or mint, for garnish (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:*
1. *Blend Yogurt:* In a blender, mix yogurt and water until smooth.
2. *Add Spices:* Add roasted cumin powder, salt, and black salt (if using). Blend well.
3. *Taste & Adjust:* Adjust seasoning according to your preference.
