MASOOR PULAV








Soak Masoor ki dal for 5 hours approximately and then wash it and keep aside,

Similarly soak basmati rice in water and wash well and keep aside.

In a pressure cooker add some oil and Jeera, Pepper corns and chopped onions till light In colour, then add cloves,bay leaves, chopped tomatoes,ginger garlic paste ,salt , chopped chilli, then add the spices like haldi,chilli powder ,cumin & coriander powder,pepper powder,biryani masala powder ,garam masala and then add the masoor and rice and mix gently. Add water as per the preferred consistency.

Close the cooker and let it cook upto 3 whistles.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with raita,and pickle.
