Urad Dal Vadai


Soak Urad Dal in water for 6 hours approximately.

Then Grind it in water and ensure the batter is crunchy and thick so ensure to add very less water while grinding.

Add crushed pepper , chopped onions(optional),chopped green chillies, few sliced ginger,salt in the batter and mix well and let air in properly while mixing with hands so the vadas can become fluffy and spongy.

Fry the vadas in hot oil and enjoy.You Can make donut shape or take a spoon and add the batter from it to the oil to make ball shape vadai.
