POHA
Poha, also known as pauwa, sira, chira, chivda, aval or avalakki, among many other names, is flattened rice originating from the Indian subcontinent. Rice is parboiled before flattening so that it can be consumed with very little to no cooking.
Poha is a light, healthy, nutritious snack that is low in calories and fibre. It is a good source of carbs, proteins, and vitamins and minerals that the body needs. In addition, Poha is low in fat and helps keep you satiated for longer.
