Tangy Masala Rice

Cook white rice and allow it to cool or even leftover rice can be used to make this flavourful dish.  Heat Ghee in a Pot and then add some cumin seeds curry leaves and mustard seeds. Once it crackles add some onions and let it turn light in colour . Add some peanuts and chana dal and stir well. Add some carrots green peas chopped green chillies salt haldi cumin powder  chilli powder , finally add the cooked white rice and stir well. Sprinkle lemon juice for a more flavourful taste .Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.😊

Green Moong Curry

  Here is a simple recipe for Green Moong Dal: 1. Wash the green moong dal thoroughly and soak it in water for at least 2-3 hours. 2. In a pressure cooker, heat oil or ghee. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. 3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute until fragrant. 4. Add chopped onions and cook until they turn translucent. 5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft. 6. Drain the soaked green moong dal and add it to the pressure cooker. 7. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder,garam masala,cumin powder and salt. Mix well. 8. Add 2 cups of water and stir everything together. 9. Close the pressure cooker lid and cook on medium heat for about 3-4 whistles or until the dal is cooked through. 10. Once the pressure releases, open the lid and check the consistency. If it's too thick, add some water and adjust the salt. 11. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti. Add some lemon juice. You can also give a TADKA of ghee a...
